Healthy at Home:

A Toolkit for Supporting Families Impacted by COVID-19

In order to serve educators and families during the COVID-19 crisis, ReadyRosie developed this free toolkit as a resource to support families with information and resources for supporting the children in their care. The current content on this site will be available throughout the summer. We invite educators to explore ReadyRosie’s complete family engagement platform to help schools and programs partner with families throughout the summer and into the new school year. Family tree

Every family is unique. What stories and traditions define your family? Did you know that children who have a strong family identity tend to do better when faced with challenges? Have fun sharing family stories this week!

Documenting Our Learning

As your family makes discoveries, model how to make drawing, write your ideas, or take photos of your findings. Talk about how writing, drawing, or taking photos helps us remember details over time. This helps show your child that print has meaning!

Movement Patterns

Combining physical movements with patterns is a fun way for your child to move their bodies and challenge their ability to recall details and add on to patterns! Take turns choosing the movements and making up the patterns!
