Healthy at Home:

A Toolkit for Supporting Families Impacted by COVID-19

In order to serve educators and families during the COVID-19 crisis, ReadyRosie developed this free toolkit as a resource to support families with information and resources for supporting the children in their care. The current content on this site will be available throughout the summer. We invite educators to explore ReadyRosie’s complete family engagement platform to help schools and programs partner with families throughout the summer and into the new school year. Investigations at home

What things are your children interested in? The plants or insects in their environment? The shoes or clothes they wear? Investigate together! Use everyday experiences to test predictions and find information. Then, show your findings and make conclusions!

Rhyming fun

When children recite or create rhymes, they begin paying attention to the sounds that make up language. Playing with rhymes and sounds prepares children to become great readers!

Fine Motor Muscle Building

The small muscles in fingers and hands are very important. They help your children draw, write, eat with utensils, and cut with scissors. Try these fine motor games to challenge those little fingers and hands!
